Who we are
This site is Today's Screening, at todaysscreening.com. We publish film and anime coverage.
Information we collect
- Comments. If you leave a comment, we collect what you type, plus your name, email address, IP address and browser user agent. This helps with spam detection.
- Contact messages. If you email us, we keep the message so we can reply and follow up.
- Server logs. Our host records standard access logs, including IP addresses, for security and troubleshooting.
- Cookies. WordPress sets cookies if you leave a comment, to remember your details. Our caching software may set a cookie to serve pages faster. We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles.
Embedded content from other sites
Posts on this site include embedded video, primarily official trailers hosted on YouTube. Embedded content behaves as though you visited that site directly, and those sites may collect data about you, use cookies, and track your interaction with the embed.
We use YouTube's privacy-enhanced embed mode, which limits tracking until you actually press play. We have no control over what YouTube does once you do.
Analytics
We may use Google Search Console to see how the site performs in search results. Search Console reports aggregate data and does not identify individual visitors.
How long we keep information
Comments and their metadata are retained indefinitely so follow-up replies can be recognised automatically. Email correspondence is kept as long as needed to deal with the matter.
Your rights
If you have left a comment or emailed us, you can request a copy of the data we hold about you, or ask us to erase it. We cannot erase data we are required to keep for legal, security or administrative reasons.
