About the Movie

Spoiler warning for the Santa Claus TV series (2025). On April 1, national actress Mai Sakurajima makes a shocking public confession: “I am actually Toko Kirishima”, the identity of a mysterious, hugely popular online singer. Her declaration triggers a wave of impossible events that previously existed only in people’s dreams.

Stop Toko Kirishima before reality is rewritten.

Social media posts tagged “#Dreaming” that turn dreams into reality begin to vanish, and Sakuta realizes the world around him no longer matches the reality he remembers. Then Sakuta receives a message from another version of himself in a different possible world, warning him to stop Toko Kirishima before reality is rewritten. To restore the altered world, Sakuta sets out to find the real Toko Kirishima, facing what the official synopsis calls his final case of Adolescence Syndrome, and a choice that will decide everything for himself, for Mai, for Shoko, and for everyone he has met along the way.

The Final Chapter

Few anime romances have earned their ending like this one. From a bunny girl in a library to a finale about rewriting reality itself, the franchise has balanced quantum-physics romance with genuine emotional weight for nearly a decade. If this really is goodbye to Sakuta and Mai, it is appointment viewing. The film also closes the book on the light novels, adapting the final volume, so this is the last chapter in every sense.

Cast and Crew

The entire core team returns for the finale. Soichi Masui directs, Masahiro Yokotani writes the screenplay, Satomi Tamura designs the characters, fox capture plan composes the music, and CloverWorks handles the animation.
